November Relief Society Dear Relief Society Sisters, on Tuesday November the 3rd at 6:30 p.m. we will be having a class on how to make your own laundry soap. We have tried it, and it works great, it is easy to make and will only cost between $2.00 to $3.00 for 10 gallons of soap. ********* You will need to bring with you 1 gallon milk carton with ascrew on lid. and you will go home with some of it to try for your self ,you will also take home a recipe and lots of fun and cost saving ideas for doing your laundry. Sister Garvin has been using this soap for 2 months and says it works great. It will be at Pam Garvin's home 427 S. Solomon At 6:00 p.m. Nov 3rd. Come and join us for the evening and learn how to become more self reliant, in these hard times.

What's cookin' good lookin'?

It's almost that time of year when we start thinking about turning on our ovens again. Gracious Mindy Evans will be teaching a class on bread making Tuesday the 29th at her home at 6:30 PM. Come check out her technique, taste her recipe, and visit with other sisters. You're bound to have a good time.

PS. Mindy will be teaching modern bread making with this handy tool or one like this one.

179th Semiannual General Conference

General Conference Oct. 3-4

Saturday and Sunday morning sessions begin at 9 AM. Afternoon sessions begin at 1 PM. Priesthood session is a 5 PM. Check local program listings or log on to radio.lds.org, general conference.lds.org, or byubroadcasting.org.

Relief Society General Broadcast

We invite all Relief Society sisters to join together in viewing the Relief Society General Broadcast on Saturday, September 26^th at 5 PM at the Stake Center. Begin setting aside any clothes to share/exchange at our “Sister’s Closet” that same evening. Please take your items Saturday at 9 AM. Exchange and a light meal will begin at 4 PM.
